Hello.

History and architecture have been my passion for more than twenty-five years. I believe understanding and preserving our historic places brings us closer to where we live. It deepens and enriches our lives.

As an architecture student, I fell in love with old buildings and lamented their loss and, upon graduation, began a career in historic preservation. I later turned to my passion for writing and architectural history, both as a consultant and an author of historical fiction. I am presently the Executive Director of the Historical Society of Wells and Ogunquit and in 2025, I published my first historical novel.

When not spending time with my wife and two daughters, and our two dogs and two cats, I can be found writing, hiking, and exploring old places.
